Control Code

The control codes force the character on screen to be controled by a human. These codes open up a variety of cool abilities within the game. You can control your PC opponents in event matches and single player modes. Can't beat Event 51? Just turn these on, hook controllers into the other ports, and run your opponets off the stage. They also allow you to control certain characters for the first time ever.

To control Giga Bowser: Load up the game with the codes on (make sure that the player 4 control code is one). Go to event 51. With a controller in port 4, you can now control the monster himself.

To control the Sandbag: Load up the game with the 2nd player code on (make sure the 3rd and 4th are off). You can move around the sandbag with a controller in port 2.

To control Master Hand & Crazy Hand: Load up the game with codes on. Go to event 50. You can now control the hands. For a complete move list, check here.

To control the Wireframes: Load up the game with the codes on. Go to event 37. You can now control the wireframes with the other controllers.

To control Dark Link: Load up the game with the 2nd player code on (make sure the 3rd and 4th are off). Go to event 18. You can play as Dark Link with a controller in port 2.

These codes have one drawback: If you try to use the 3rd or 4th player codes when there is no 3rd or 4th player, the game will freeze. DO NOT use those two unless a 3rd and 4th character is present. These codes also freeze Adventure mode.
